The New South Wales State Government is undergoing consultation with Local Councils regarding Short Term Holiday Letting (STHL) using websites such as Airbnb and Stayz. Council is requesting your feedback on STHL within the Bathurst Region.

The aim of the survey is to gain an understanding of the scale of short term holiday letting with the Bathurst LGA and the potential impact tighter regulations could have on hosts and the region in general.

Council is not seeking information about your current short term holiday letting, you will not be asked your name, location or other details about your property.

STHL is a type of accommodation that is generally carried out in a house and is primarily provided to tourists and visitors to the Bathurst Region. STHL includes B&B’s holiday cabins and self-contained accommodation.
