This award recognises outstanding young creative individuals from the age of 12 to 18, who live in the Bathurst Regional Council area and who have distinguished themselves in their particular area of the arts.

This award will be presented at the 2025 Australia Day Awards ceremony.

Visual Arts nominees: photos of works from exhibitions or other presentations.

Dance, Drama and Music nominees: A short video, no longer than 4 minutes of performances.

Assessment Process and timeline

The Youth Arts Award nominations are assessed by the Australia Day Working Party, with the assessment process based on the information made available in these nomination forms.

Nominations Close: Friday 6 December 2024

Three finalists will be chosen to perform/exhibit at the Australia Day Awards ceremony, Sunday 26 January 2025.
