Consultation has concluded

Do you know of an exceptional individual in the Bathurst community who has contributed to the great city in which we live or know of an event that highlighted our community spirit? Here is your chance to recognise them.

Nominations are now open for the following:

  • Citizen of the Year Award
  • Living Legends
  • Youth Arts Award
  • Youth Service Award
  • Event of the Year Awards – destination, community and new.

Nominations will close for Citizen of the Year, Living Legends, Youth Arts and Youth Service Awards on Friday 6 November 2026. Event of the Year nominations will close on Friday 8 January 2027.

All awards will be presented at the Australia Day Ceremony on Tuesday 26 January 2027.

The Greening Bathurst Jo Ross Award and the National Trust awards will also be presented on Australia Day and are co-ordinated by those respective organisations.
