Consultation has concluded

Council has commenced the master planning for the Duramana Road residential precinct within Eglinton (the vacant residential land on the western side of Eglinton, to the north of Freemantle Road). Council engaged consultants who developed a master plan for the site. The master plan includes residential (low and medium density), open space areas, neighbourhood activity centre (including a supermarket, speciality stores and other community uses) within the subdivision.

At the recent Eglinton village meeting in May 2019 the community raised concerns in relation to the draft Duramana Master Plan. The draft Duramana Master Plan applies to the land formerly owned by 2BS and other adjoining lands at the north-west of Eglinton. Council officers gave an undertaking to hold a further public information session in relation to the draft master plan. A public information session was held on 13 June 2019.
