Consultation has concluded
To support the Integrated Planning and Reporting Requirements, as required by the Office of Local Government, Council has also prepared an Asset Management Policy.
The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance for implementing best practice asset management at Bathurst Regional Council and to support Council in meeting legislative requirements for asset management as laid out in the Local Government Act 1993, Local Government General Regulations 2005 and the National Asset Management Framework. This is achieved by ensuring systems and procedures are in place to enable the determination of the most effective and efficient delivery of infrastructure related services whilst controlling risk and loss.
This Asset Management Policy provides a framework that together with the Bathurst 2040 Community Strategic Plan enables the Asset Management Strategy and detailed Asset Management Plans to be produced.
Submissions can be made until 4.00pm Monday 11 January 2021
