Consultation has concluded

Bathurst Regional Council and Oberon Council are working with NSW Government to develop the Abercrombie Regional Economic Development Strategy.

The NSW Government has recently announced a new funding package for Regional NSW. Known as the Growing Local Economies Fund, it aims to provide vital infrastructure to activate regional economies and support local jobs and small businesses.

Regional economic areas (known as Functional Economic Regions or FERs) have been identified after examining a range of economic factors including labour flows, population, market characteristics, communities of interest and supply chains.

As part of the development of the strategy, The Balmoral Group has been engaged to conduct a survey to understand local business' needs. The results of the survey will be used to inform the regional economic development strategy and identify actions that can be undertaken to support economic growth.

When filling out this survey please think in the context of the geographic region rather than within your Local Government Area.

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete and you can exit at any time and return to it at a later date.

Your responses in this survey will be anonymous. Data collected will be treated as confidential by the project team. Further information on the project is available from The Balmoral Group, Paul Yacobellis at pyacobellis@balmoralgroup.com.au or 02 9051 2492.
