Youth Week

Youth Week (April 16-24) is a celebration for young people with a variety of events and activities to acknowledge their contribution to the community.
Mayor Bobby Bourke said it’s organised by young people, for young people in our community.
“Our region’s young people provide a valuable contribution to our community and Youth Week gives them the chance to express their views and ideas, act on issues that affect their lives and plan and participate in activities,” he said.
Youth Week will be celebrated with the following events:
Fitness for Fun
Fitness for Fun will be held on the oval at the Kelso Community Hub. The day will commence with a free barbecue lunch followed by fun and fitness activities organised and run in collaboration with Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Jurassic Park after Dark
Come along to Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum for a spooky tour in the dark of night when all things are still or are they? There will be stories and scary facts told about dinosaurs and creatures existing more than 230 million years ago. Bring a torch, bring a friend. Pizza dinner included.
Numbers are limited, bookings are essential. Book your ticket by Wednesday 21 April.
