What’s News at Bathurst Regional Council

Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000

  • The Supercars transporters and drivers’ parade will travel through the city centre from 11.30am on Wednesday, 9 October.

  • Get your fan gear or memorabilia signed by your favourite driver in Kings Parade on Wednesday, October 9. All Supercars drivers participating in the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 will be divided into two signing sessions. The first session is at 12.15pm and the second session is at 1.15pm.

  • The Legendary Moments dinner will feature Greg Murphy, Steven Richards and Fred Gibson at Rydges at 10 October at 6.30pm. Tickets are $80 and available at www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au

  • The Saturday Street Fair will be on 12 October from 10am to 4pm. It is an opportunity take the family out to the markets in Kings Parade, enjoy the children’s rides and a variety of tasty treats.

Water Restrictions

Level 4-5 (extreme) water restrictions will be in effect as of Monday, 14 October in response to the limited water available in Chifley Dam. The implementation of Level 4-5 water restrictions (extreme) will further limit outdoor water use and penalties may apply. For more information visit www.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/waterwise

BizMonth Lunch with Ita Buttrose

The lunch offers business owners and representatives cross-industry networking and referral opportunities. The lunch is part of Council’s broader BizMonth campaign, which is a month dedicated to celebrating local businesses.

The Pillars of Bathurst project honours the lives and contributions of past residents who have played an important role in the history of the region throughout the different eras.
