Living Legends
Nominations are now open for Living Legends. The title, Living Legend, recognises the achievements of individuals and the way they have contributed positively to the community. They could be proven leaders amongst their peers, promote the positive qualities of Council, the community and local businesses. To nominate someone you think is worthy of inclusion as a Living Legend visit the YourSay Bathurst website.
Nominations close Friday 31 January 2020.
Section 356 Donations
Council is seeking expressions of interest from community organisations and individuals seeking funding from Council to be included in the 2020/2021 budget. Funding is available for the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. To apply, submit an application form which is available on Council’s website or from the Civic Centre, 158 Russell Street, Bathurst by 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 4 February 2020. Organisations/groups who have received funding previously should re-apply if they wish to be considered for further funding.

Event of the Year
Council and the Australia Day committee are encouraging local organisations to nominate for the Bathurst Region Community Event of the Year Award and Bathurst Region Destination Event of the Year Award for events that were staged in 2019.

Railway Museum Plaques

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD)
IDPwD is a United Nations day that promotes inclusivity and celebrates the achievements and contributions of people with disabilities on December 3, every year.
This year, Glenray will mark IDPwD by holding a “Movie Night” at Metro 5 Cinemas Bathurst. This event is inclusive of anyone in the community.
Movie: The Addams Family
Date: 10 December
Arrival: 5.30pm for a 6.00pm screening
Cost: On sale, November 26th from M.C. $16.00 p/p - includes a can of drink & bag of lollies on arrival. *Conditions - No companion cards/free tickets/metro vouchers can be used to purchase tickets - (metro rules).
