Village Meetings
Village meetings with residents in areas will be held during November. Residents are invited to attend and meet with Councillors and senior staff to discuss projects and any other matters of interest.
Each meeting will commence at 6.00pm and will be held at the following locations:
· Sofala, Memorial Hall - 25 November
· Wattle Flat, recreation Hall - 26 November

Pillars of Bathurst
The Pillars of Bathurst project honours the lives and contributions of past residents who have played an important role in the history of the region throughout the different eras. Nominations are now open for the 2020 Pillars of Bathurst. Nomination forms and guidelines are available from https://yoursay.bathurst.nsw.gov.au/pillars
Nominations close 29 November.
Railway Museum Plaques
Become part of Bathurst’s Railway family and purchase a replica brass engine plate with your family name to be displayed in perpetuity at the new Bathurst Rail Museum.

Sustainability Grant
A new Sustainability Grants program for schools has recently been launched by the NSW
Department of Education. All NSW public schools can apply for up to $15,000 of funding for sustainable projects. Applications close 29 November, so apply now bit.ly/36fNUdo

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD)
IDPwD is a United Nations day that promotes inclusivity and celebrates the achievements and contributions of people with disabilities on December 3, every year.
This year, Glenray will mark IDPwD by holding a “Movie Night” at Metro 5 Cinemas Bathurst. This event is inclusive of anyone in the community.

Arrival: 5.30pm for a 6.00pm screening
