Have Your Say
EOI Former TAFE Precinct
Council has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the redevelopment of the former TAFE Precinct.
The precinct will be a once in a generation opportunity for the Bathurst region. The precinct will include a new public plaza and new buildings, adaptive reuse of the former TAFE and headmaster’s buildings. It is informed by previous community consultation and conservation management plans.
Council is seeking development interest in the precinct with private (not Council) funding. Private funding allows for the full precinct to be developed, it also allows money from the development of new private buildings to fund the new ‘plaza’ and the adaptive reuse of the Heritage Buildings.
Concept Playground Designs – Gormans Hill And Miller Parks
These enhancement projects will ensure enjoyment and participation in play for all users, regardless of their age, ability or background.
Concept designs for the two play spaces, which include a range of new play and
natural elements to improve inclusivity in line with the NSW Government’s Everyone Can Play Guidelines.
Council is now seeking input from the community on the concept designs that have been developed for Miller and Gormans Hill Parks. Feedback closes Friday 14 January.
