The library’s book week celebrations have moved online. Visit the Library’s Facebook Page at 10.30am each day during book week to participate.

Waste Management Centre closed to the public

With the extension of the Stay at Home Orders, the Waste Management Centre remains closed to the public. It remains open for essential commercial waste and kerbside collections only. Council's kerbside collection service continues as usual.

Council has several options for residents to pay rates.

  • Cash payments can be made at the Commonwealth Bank - you will need your rate notice with you.
  • Cheques can be sent to PMB 17 Bathurst NSW 2795
  • Phone payments 1300 407 843 (automated service), your reference number is the Bpay reference number
  • Internet banking via Bpay through your financial institution

Seniors Festival

Each year Council and community groups participate in the NSW Seniors Festival and we are interested to hear from you and what you like about the Festival and what you would like to see included in future years.

Brooke Moore Woodland Reserve Draft Plan of Management

Located adjacent to Alexander and Suttor Streets West Bathurst, Brooke Moore Woodland Reserve is a 5.8-hectare area of Crown Land managed by Council. The draft plan has been developed to facilitate the ongoing management of this highly significant woodland reserve and revered community asset.

Pillars of Bathurst

Nominations for the 2022 Pillars of Bathurst project are open. If you’d like to participate in

this important local cultural heritage project by nominating someone visit YourSay Bathurst for more information. Nominations close 25 October 2021.

Garage Sale Trail
