Bathurst Cycling Classic to run over three days

The Bathurst Cycling Classic, to be held 12 – 14 March 2021 will see the introduction of the Bathurst Tour, a competitive event which offers a combined entry for the Hill Climb, Criterium and B2B (Bathurst to Bathurst) 100km road race.


Participants will accrue points relevant to their performance in each of the disciplines with prizes valued at over $15,000 up for grabs over the duration of the event.

Mayor Bobby Bourke said the Bathurst Cycling Classic includes three days of cycling action, with the hill climb being held for the first time on Mount Panorama starting from Pit Straight to McPhillamy Park.


“The Criterium will be held on Saturday 13 March and the B2B on Sunday 14 March, with only the long (100km) course being offered for next year’s event which will start in the Bathurst CBD. Long course participants will complete a lap of Mount Panorama before heading out to the course. The 2021 event is not UCI sanctioned.


“The Bathurst Cycling Classic 2021 will be a COVID safe event adhering to the NSW Health guidelines. The event will be reduced capacity, no spectators and additional COVID safe practices to ensure the health and safety of all participants, staff, visitors, and residents.


  • The Bathurst Tour entry (entry to the three events) is $295 per person
  • The B2B 100km is $225 per person
  • The Hill Climb is $45 per person


The Criterium will not be able to be purchased individually, only as part of the Bathurst Tour.


Tickets for valued supporters go on sale Monday 9 November at 12pm with general public tickets going on sale Tuesday 10 November at 12pm. Tickets are limited to adhere to reduced capacity and can be purchased from www.bathurstcyclingclassic.com.au.
