The draft Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) is a ten-year view of Council's finances - our income and expenditure predictions based on the long-term view of the community identified in our Community Strategic Plan 2025-2045. The document reflects our predicted financial position in this period. The LTFP has been developed under the NSW Government’s Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP & R) Framework.
At the Council meeting on Wednesday 15 April 2026, the draft Long Term Financial Plan 2026-2036 was presented and adopted for display and public submissions.
The Draft LTFP is now open for public submissions and can be viewed in the Document Library, at the Civic Centre and Bathurst Library.

After consideration of submissions, the Long Term Financial Plan 2026-2036 will be adopted by Council.
Submissions are invited until 4pm on Thursday 14 May 2026 and will be considered at the Council meeting on Wednesday 17 June 2026..
