Mayor Cr Bobby Bourke said he looked forward to being able to discuss the matter further with the Minister and Council will continue to abide by the conditions of the current Section 9 declaration.

"We look forward to being able to further present Council’s case to the Minister regarding the work that has been undertaken prior to the approval of the go-kart track.

"The Minister has given an undertaking that her determination will be made before 4 May, and we thank the Minister for being very clear about her timeline for this process.”
