NSW Government Planning Portal Fees

From 1 July 2021, a range of fees will be introduced for certain planning applications, certificates and are to be paid by the applicant at the time an application is submitted via the Portal. These fees are in addition to the fees charged by Council for the assessment or processing of your application. The NSW Planning Portal Fees are prescribed by Clause 263B of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation and are over and above any Council related fees. . The NSW Planning Portal fees have been introduced to support the ongoing maintenance and delivery of the NSW Planning Portal and the related ePlanning Digital Services.

The fees to lodge applications via the NSW Planning Portal are as follows:
