Consultation has concluded
The Chifley Bush Fire Management Committee is seeking comments on its draft Bush Fire Risk Management Plan (BFRMP) which has recently been prepared.
The draft BFRMP covers the whole of the Bathurst Regional Council and Oberon Council LGA areas. It includes information about the local area and specifies works to be done to manage bush fire risk in the area.
The draft BFRMP applies to all land in the Bathurst Regional Council and Oberon Council LGA areas including private land.
The draft BFRMP is on exhibition from a period of 42 days from 17 August 2020 until 27 September 2020.
The draft BFRMP can be viewed and/or downloaded from the document library. A copy can also be obtained by contacting 1300 258 727 during office hours. Copies may also be obtained in person from the NSW Rural Fire Service at the Chifley Fire Control Centre, 27 Hampden Park Road, Kelso during business hours.
Written submission on the draft BFRMP can be sent to the BFRC by email on chifley.zone@rfs.nsw.gov.au or post to PO BOx 294, Lithgow NSW 2790.
