­­­Bathurst Regional Council (Council) seeks prospective tenants to lease the Former Ambulance Station, William Street, Bathurst. The building provides adaptive reuse opportunities of approximately 460sqm floor space on a prominent Bathurst Central Business District (CBD) site.

The purpose of this Registration of Interest (ROI) is for Council to:

  1. Shortlist suitable tenants for the former Ambulance Station Building.
  2. inform incentive lease terms (if warranted) for the various tenant improvement and maintenance works required to make the building suitable for the intended uses. The scope of these works will be determined, in part, by the intended use of the building.
  3. Set out the Evaluation Criteria against which the Council will evaluate each ROI and select Shortlisted Respondents to either lease the building or tender to lease the building and
  4. Provide the opportunity to understand the public's views to assist the Council’s decision-making on specific critical issues for the Project and prepare the subsequent Request for Tender and Lease terms for the building.

The ROI closes at 10am, Tuesday, 28 November 2023. ROIs are to be submitted through Tenderlink at https://portal.tenderlink.com/bathurst/

    Council, at its meeting on Wednesday 13 December 2023 voted to enter into negotiations with the Bathurst Cleaning Company powered by Vivability to lease the former ambulance station.

    In October this year, Council commenced a Registration of Interest (ROI) seeking prospective tenants.

    A further report will be provided to Council once a lease is ready to be finalised.
