The community has the opportunity to show their preference on three logos and taglines, including the original proposal, to support Council’s new Destination Branding Strategy.

The Destination Brand Strategy is designed to effectively and measurably grow a cohesive tourism industry and drive business to the Bathurst region.

The goals of the Destination Brand Strategy as outlined in the Destination Management Plan include:

  • Improved awareness of what our region offers visitors
  • Increased visitor numbers across the region and visitor expenditure across the region
  • Development of campaigns targeting the source markets identified in the strategy
  • Increased number of sustainable tourism jobs

Before you vote, read through the Brand Strategy (in the document library) which provides information on the context of the creative elements within the overall strategy and explains the process of research and development.

This survey will close on December 11 and a report will then be prepared for the next Council meeting on December 13.
